CONGRATULATIONS
TO STARS 2009 CHAMPIONS!!!
Congratulations to the Stars U-14 Girls on winning the Championship of the Georgia FC Presidents Soccer Classic. The girls scored 10 goals over the four games with only one goal against. They defeated Ambush Red 1-0, Dacula 95 Green 2-1, NSA "The Belles" 5-0 and closed out the finals against the Georgia FC Silverbacks Elite with a 2-0 victory. The Stars U11 Navy team was the winner of their division at the Cobb Classic tournament on February 14 & 15. They defeated ASA Xtreme 99 Elite in the final. Member of the winning team are Drew, Collin, Andrew, Austin, Cole, Tammer, Ryan, Tyler, Chris, and Bruce. They are coached by Jacenir Silva.
Stars U10 Diamond Team was a finalist at the Cobb Classic Tournament on February 14 & 15. Despite playing tough through out the entire tournament, they were defeated in the final game by Cherokee Impact 99 Gold. Stars U12 Gold Team was a finalist at the NASA Ice Breaker tournament on February 14 & 15. Leading up the final game they were undefeated, had scored 11 goals and only allowed 2 goals. The final game was tied at the end of regulation play and the overtime period. The game decided in PKs with Stars losing to NASA Lloyd 2 to 1. Members of the team are Samantha, Anna, Katherine, Anna, Elliette, Anna, Whitney, Heather, Sydney, Delaney, Natalie, Isabella, and Sydney. They are coached by Javier Staffanell.
